At Defy Appliance Service Centre, customer satisfaction is important to us. Please read our Refund and Return Policy carefully before making a purchase.

✅ Returns Eligibility

You may request a return or refund within 7 days of purchase if the following conditions are met:

  • The product is unused, in its original packaging, and in resalable condition.
  • You provide proof of purchase (e.g. receipt or order confirmation).
  • The item is faulty, defective, or not as described.

⚠️ Important: We do not accept returns of items that have already been used. Please inspect all items before using them.


❌ Non-Returnable Items

We do not accept returns on the following:

  • Used or installed products
  • Items damaged due to misuse or neglect
  • Special-order or custom-made products
  • Items marked as “non-returnable” or “clearance”

🔄 Exchange Policy

If your item is defective or damaged on arrival, we will gladly exchange it for the same or similar item (subject to stock availability). You must notify us within 48 hours of receiving the product.


💳 Refund Process

Once we receive and inspect your returned item:

  • If approved, we will issue a refund to your original method of payment.
  • Refunds may take up to 7 working days to reflect, depending on your bank.

📦 Return Method

Returns must be made in person at our store, or shipped via a courier arranged and paid for by the customer.

Order Collection Policy

Collection Only – No Delivery Service

At this time, Defy Appliance Service Centre does not offer delivery services. All orders placed through our website are collection-only from our store location. Please read the following carefully before making a purchase



How to Receive Your Order

Once your order is ready, you will receive a notification via email, SMS, or phone call. Please bring a valid order confirmation or proof of payment when collecting.

Use of Own Courier Services

Customers may arrange their own courier to collect their orders. If you choose to do this:

  • Please notify us in advance at sales@defyservice.co.za or call 021 817 4550.
  • Ensure the courier has your name and order number.
  • Orders will only be released once the courier provides proper identification or reference.

Note: Defy Appliance Service Centre is not liable for any damage, loss, or delays once the item has been collected by a third-party courier.



Order Collection Timeframe

All orders must be collected within 7 working days of notification. Uncollected items may be returned to stock and could be subject to a restocking fee.
